A space to be held, rather than shaped.
To soften, rather than strive.
To listen inward, and let your body speak in its own time.
Here, the pace is unhurried, and all parts of you are met with presence.
The tenderness.
The vulnerability.
The desire and longing.
The places that learned to brace, perform, or stay quiet in order to be liked, or to belong.
Through devotional touch and steady presence, your body is given permission to speak.
Sensation, emotion, memory, and desire are welcomed - without demand, without urgency.
Here, pleasure is not something to perform or prove,
but a natural aliveness that emerges when the body feels safe enough to open.
The Temple is an offering for women who are ready to come home to themselves -
slowly, sensually, and without apology.
Tantra is a way of living that understands the body not as something to transcend, fix, or discipline, but as a living gateway to presence, wisdom, and aliveness.
At its heart, Tantra is a path of inclusion. It teaches that nothing in our lived experience is separate from the sacred.
In contrast to spiritual traditions that move away from the physical or sensual, Tantra invites us into the body, into breath, into feeling, and into the subtle intelligence that lives within our flesh.
Devotional Tantric Bodywork carries this philosophy into touch.
Rather than working on the body, this approach is relational and responsive. Touch is offered slowly, attentively, and with reverence, creating a field of safety in which the body can relax and begin to speak in its own language - through sensation, emotion, memory, and subtle energetic movement.
This is a form of bodywork that honours the whole being. The physical body is met alongside the emotional, energetic, sensual, and spiritual layers that live within it. Nothing is forced, bypassed, or rushed. Each session is shaped by what is present in the moment, guided by clear communication and deep respect for your unique pace.
In Devotional Tantric Bodywork, pleasure is not a goal to be achieved or a performance to be enacted. It is recognised as a natural, life-affirming current - one that arises organically when the body feels safe, included, and fully welcomed. As parts of ourselves that have been ignored, shamed, or held at a distance are gently brought back into belonging, a sense of wholeness becomes possible.
This work offers a rare opportunity to experience your body not as something fragmented or managed, but as a coherent, intelligent whole - held in presence and devotion.
A core element of Tantric bodywork is the therapeutic honouring of the reproductive organs.
For women, this sacred centre is known as the Yoni, an ancient Sanskrit word referring to the womb and vulva, the feminine gateway of creation, power and deep inner knowing.
In the Tantric tradition, the yoni is understood as a sacred centre of feminine wisdom, creativity, and life force. Far beyond anatomy, it is recognised as a profound energetic and spiritual gateway.
One that holds sensation, memory, emotion, and deep intuitive intelligence.
In Devotional Tantric Bodywork, yoni honouring is approached with great care, reverence, and consent.
It is not sexualised or goal-oriented.
But rather an intentional practice of inclusion. Meeting this part of the body with the same respect, presence, and tenderness that we might offer the heart or the hands.
For many women, the yoni has been shaped by silence, shame, expectation, or disconnection.
Experiences, both personal and cultural, can leave this area guarded, numbed, or unseen.
When the yoni is gently and respectfully included within a safe, devotional container, it can be deeply therapeutic. The nervous system receives a powerful message of belonging…
Nothing in you is excluded.
This kind of honouring can support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and a reconnection to embodied pleasure as a natural, life-affirming state.
It allows women to experience their sensuality not as something to perform or manage, but as an innate current that arises when the body feels safe, respected, and whole.
Yoni honouring is always optional, consent-led, and guided by your readiness.
It is offered only in service of integration, healing, and the reclamation of your body’s innate wisdom.
Each session begins with time to arrive and gently settle into the space. We begin by connecting, allowing you to share your intentions for receiving and what has inspired you to explore tantric bodywork.
I’ll then speak to the why and how of this work: what makes tantric bodywork so effective, how a session may unfold, and some of the sensations or experiences that can arise. There is ample space to ask questions and to share, so you can understand how this offering may support you on your journey.
Before any touch begins, I will also invite you to clarify any boundaries, sensitivities, or considerations. Ensuring you feel informed and at ease before moving into the bodywork itself.
The introductory chat can typically take between 25–45 minutes, depending on the individual. For this reason, I recommend booking three hours for your initial session, allowing spaciousness to connect, receive information, and experience a long, unhurried, and therapeutic treatment.
The bodywork then unfolds slowly and intuitively, guided by presence, breath, and deep listening rather than a set routine. Touch is responsive and unhurried, meeting your body where it is and following its natural rhythms.
You are warmly encouraged to communicate at any point: to ask for adjustments, to pause, or to name what is arising. Choice and agency remain with you throughout the session.
The session closes with time to integrate and return gently, often over a cup of tea, allowing your body to fully settle before stepping back into your day.
Here, the full spectrum of feeling is welcome.
Sensation, emotion, numbness, tenderness, pleasure, grief, joy - everything belongs.
There is no right way to experience a session, and nothing you need to perform or produce.
Touch is offered as a language of listening rather than stimulation.
It is slow, attuned, and responsive.
Meeting the body with care rather than seeking to elicit any particular outcome.
Sensuality is welcomed as a natural part of embodied experience.
Pleasure, when it arises, does so organically, as aliveness that emerges when the body feels safe, included, and at ease.
As women, pleasure is not a luxury; it is a biological and emotional need.
The nourishment of touch, connection, and oxytocin supports our nervous systems, our hormonal health, and our capacity to thrive.
In The Temple, pleasure is not defined by intensity or result.
It may feel soft, subtle, expansive, emotional, or deeply restful.
It may also not arise at all, and that, too, is completely welcome.
This is a space where sensation is honoured without agenda, where your experience is trusted,
and where everything is allowed to unfold in its own timing.
Hi, I’m Ashleigh.
For over a decade, I’ve devoted my life to the embodied arts. First through sensual movement and dance for women, and now through therapeutic tantric and somatic bodywork. My work is rooted in deep listening, relational presence, and a reverence for the body as a place of wisdom, healing, and aliveness.
I offer slow, reverent, temple-style sessions that honour the body as an intelligent, feeling whole. Each experience is shaped by what is present in the moment, creating space for relaxation, emotional healing, and a renewed sense of aliveness and connection…
Women who are longing for a slower, more connected way of being. It is for those who feel called to soften, to listen inward, and to explore their embodied experience with curiosity rather than force. Women who sense there is more available to them than pushing through, performing, or managing themselves.
This offering may resonate if you:
Desire deep rest and nervous system regulation
Are curious about embodiment, sensual awareness, or Tantric philosophy
Long to reconnect with pleasure as something natural and unforced
Value attunement, presence, and a trauma-aware approach
Feel ready to meet your body with honesty, tenderness, and care
You do not need prior experience with Tantra or bodywork. All that is required is a willingness to slow down and listen.
This work may not be suitable if you are seeking a quick fix, a purely physical massage, or a goal-oriented sexual experience.
It may also not be appropriate if you are currently in acute crisis or require clinical therapeutic support beyond the scope of bodywork. If you are unsure, you are always welcome to reach out for a conversation before booking.
This offering honours readiness, timing, and choice. There is no urgency..
Trust your sense of timing.
“I had a 3 hour Temple session with Ashleigh. She made me feel heard, safe and comfortable right from the get go.
The room was clean, beautifully set up and radiated a sense of calm.
Ashleigh was amazingly intuitive, attentive, dedicated and professional throughout the entire session and leant a kind, caring and empathic ear during both the introductory chat and the debriefing chat afterwards.
The communication to book the appointment was clear, the introduction form comprehensive and the follow up feedback form built with a genuine sense of care and concentration on client well being.
The massage itself was second to none I have experienced.
Tension held in a number of muscles for years melted away and I can't recall the last time I felt so present within my own skin.
Absolutely transformative.
There are not enough stars in this scale for how highly I'd recommend a session with Ashleigh. Thank you for your wonderful work.”
— Alesia, The Temple (for Women)
Ritual Touch is an integrative practice, shaped by multiple wisdom traditions that honour the body as sacred, intelligent, and deeply relational.
Rather than working from a single fixed method, each session draws from a living tapestry of lineages, allowing the work to respond to the individual, the moment, and what the body is ready to receive.
The foundations of this work include…
-
Devotional Tantric Bodywork® is a somatic sexual healing modality.
Founded by Stephanie Avis, this approach weaves therapeutic touch, conscious breath, and attuned presence to gently restore connection between body, heart, and erotic life force. -
These Hawaiian temple-style bodywork traditions emphasise flowing, wave-like strokes, grounded presence, and the understanding that healing occurs when the body, mind, and spirit are met as one. The work is nurturing, rhythmic, and deeply calming to the nervous system.
-
Working from the floor allows for full-bodied, grounded touch that moves rhythmically and intuitively. This tradition supports deep relaxation and a sense of being held by something larger than oneself.
-
These ancient traditions inform the understanding of life force energy as something to be circulated, honoured, and integrated throughout the body, rather than confined or suppressed. They offer a framework for meeting sensual energy with awareness and care.
-
Modern somatic and trauma-informed perspectives underpin all sessions, ensuring that the work is held with sensitivity, choice, and respect for individual pacing and lived experience.
-
Blending Zen Shiatsu, Thai massage, and osteopathic principles, Zenthai Shiatsu brings awareness to the body’s energetic pathways, breath, and structure, supporting balance, mobility, and integration.
Nervous System Support
Slow, attuned touch supports the body to shift out of stress and into rest, allowing the nervous system to soften and reorganise.
Increased Capacity for Pleasure
As safety and presence deepen, the body becomes more available for pleasure. Not as performance, but as a natural function of regulation and feeling.
Heal Sexual Shame and Disconnection
Meeting the body with reverence and consent helps unwind conditioned shame, numbness, or self-judgement held in the pelvis and genitals.
Emotional Release and Integration
The body stores unexpressed emotion; attuned touch supports feelings to move and integrate without needing to analyse or relive the story.
Reconnection to the Yoni and Pelvic Centre
Gentle therapeutic yoni work supports sensitivity, circulation, and a renewed sense of connection to this powerful centre of intuition and vitality.
Hormonal and Oxytocin Support
Safe, nurturing touch encourages oxytocin release, supporting emotional wellbeing, hormonal balance, and the capacity to bond, relax, and thrive.
Embodied Confidence and Self-Trust
As sensation and boundaries are honoured, women often experience greater self-trust, clarity, and confidence rooted in the body rather than the mind.
Integration of Sensuality and Spirituality
Tantric bodywork invites pleasure, presence, and meaning to coexist, allowing aliveness and spiritual connection to be felt through the body, not separate from it.

There is no pressure, only an open invitation to connect and ask what you need.

No prior experience is needed. This work meets you exactly where you are, whether this is your first time receiving bodywork or you are deeply familiar with somatic or tantric practices.
-
Each session begins with time to arrive, connect, clarify intentions, boundaries, and ask any questions you may have. The first session also includes a tantra education talk at the beginning - naming the intention and benefits of the work.
The bodywork itself unfolds slowly and intuitively, guided by your intention for receiving and deep listening, rather than a set routine. Time is also included at the end for integration and grounding. -
Many people feel a mix of curiosity, nervousness, and vulnerability before their first session. The opening conversation is designed to support your mind to settle and help you to feel relaxed in the space before any touch begins.
-
Levels of undress are discussed clearly beforehand and always remain your choice. You are encouraged to stay within what feels safe and comfortable for your body.
-
No. Pleasure may arise organically when the body feels safe and included, but it is not sought or measured. Healing and transformation here happens through attunement and safety, not outcomes.
-
All experiences are welcome. You may feel sensation, emotion, pleasure, numbness, restfulness, or very little at all. There is no expectation to feel a certain way, and nothing is considered a “wrong” experience.
-
No. While this work may inspire sensual and erotic energy, it is a therapeutic, consent-based somatic healing modality. The focus is on presence, safety, and integration - not performance, arousal, or outcome.
-
You are welcome to pause, redirect, or stop at any time. Choice and agency remain with you throughout the session, and communication is encouraged.
-
Unlike conventional massage, tantric bodywork is relational, slow, and nervous-system led. Touch is not routine-based and the body is met as a whole - physical, emotional, energetic, and sensual.
-
You may feel relaxed, open, emotional, or deeply rested. Gentle integration is recommended. Hydration, rest, spaciousness, and listening to your body’s needs over the following days.
-
This varies for each person. Some clients benefit from a single session, while others choose ongoing sessions to support deeper integration and continuity.
